Say hello to Mr. Fox

My new project, Mr. Fox, isn't he just lovely!

The pattern is from Tiny Owl Knits "Mr. Fox stole my heart" and he has truly stolen my heart!

but hey I'm Yarn Fox, I just have a soft spot for foxes made of yarn ..

So I have started out... and I'm planing to complete it, before I continue or start anything new... knowing me, it's going to be difficult, but not impossible. Mr. Fox is after all a relative small project, I mean it's not like my blanket of crocheted flowers!!

DIY Here

Christmas last until Easter

In Denmark, we say that Christmas last until Easter .. and it’s so true, because I still knit Christmas ornaments.I have a dream, that next year, I will be able to decorate my Christmas tree only with these great Christmas ornaments!

The inspiration comes from "55 Christmas Balls to Knit: Colourful Festive Ornaments" by Arne and Carlos, who is somewhat of a phenomenon here in the DK, they are just amazing!

So when I get tired of making flowers I make a Christmas ornament instead, and vice versa.

The time gotta go with something ...

So in May I start with an insane project ... a blanket of crocheted flowers!
The idea is stolen from the Italian designer Natalia Pepe, who made this.

It's so nice that I must own it!! ... but the reason I wanted to do it myself is that the price is on the big side of 4700 €, and that I can’t afford.

So now I crochet like crazy with all the yarn leftovers I have, and after some breaks it’s now February, and I have 345 flowers of mixed yarn quality and size.

I’m going too need around 700 flowers, so I’m almost halfway there.
